E3 Diagnostics is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Electronic Bench Technician / Calibration Technician to support our growing service organization in Arlington Heights IL. This role is responsible for performing calibrations, maintenance, repairs, and technical support for a wide range of audiology equipment while ensuring the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 annual salary

• Provide exceptional technical support and service for national account customers.
• Perform in-house calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of audiology equipment.
• Calibrate field test equipment returned from the field and coordinate timely return shipment to employees.
• Maintain accurate service, calibration, and repair records within company databases and systems.
• Stay current on product knowledge, technical procedures, and required training programs.
• Partner with administrative, service and operations teams to ensure calibration schedules, certifications, and deadlines are met.
• Follow established quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity and accuracy.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
• Experience with calibration equipment and quality systems.
• Prior experience in healthcare, audiology, medical device, or laboratory equipment service environments is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical or Engineering degree or at least two years related experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office, experience with database management systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to maintain a clear driving record. 

Travel:

• This position is subject to travel up to 10% of the time depending upon the local office need.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching, depending upon variables at customer location.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
